The Data Warehouse Analyst will play a critical role in supporting financial services operations by gathering requirements, preparing and modeling data, and developing scalable data warehouse solutions. The role involves designing and maintaining ETL processes, conducting in-depth data analysis, and building interactive dashboards to deliver actionable insights. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and contribute to the continuous improvement of BI solutions. This position also includes mentoring junior analysts and staying current with emerging BI tools and techniques to drive innovation and efficiency

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business needs into data and reporting requirements
• Identify, collect, and clean data from multiple sources ensuring accuracy and integrity
• Contribute to the design and maintenance of data models and data warehouses optimized for performance and scalability
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to move data from source systems to the data warehouse
• Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Monitor BI solution performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Create and maintain documentation for data sources, ETL processes, reports, and dashboards
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stay updated with BI trends, tools, and techniques to enhance solutions
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience
• Five to eight years of experience in data warehouse analysis
• At least five years of experience in data modeling within a data warehouse environment
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
• Experience with BI visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift is advantageous
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or R is beneficial
• Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques is an added advantage
